TBA Glendi is the Greek word for ‘party’ and the entire parish comes together at this fund-raiser to celebrate unity in diversity. Thousands of visitors come to the grounds for one weekend each September to eat, dance and relax. Voted “Best Way to Eat Around the World” by the Sonoma County Independent, there is food for sale from Middle Eastern, Eritrean, Kenyan, Russian, Greek, Balkan, Romanian, & American cultures. After enjoying the diverse foods offered, visitors can dance to live Balkan music. Introductory lectures will be given in both of the churches hourly. The lectures last approximately 30 minutes, leaving time for questions afterwards.
